Daishin Kashimoto will perform Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 at two concerts with the Dresden Philharmonic under Sir Donald Runnicles on 25 June at Suntory Hall in Tokyo and on 28 June at Minato Mirai Hall in Yokohama.
He will then play works by Mozart, Schubert, Takemitsu, Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Beethoven in a trio with Claudio Bohórquez and Yu Kosuge in Osaka, Tokyo, Kanazawa and Fukuoka.
Finally, he will travel to South Korea with a programme devoted entirely to Brahms: together with Cho Seong-jin, Kyungmin Park, Kian Soltani, Stefan Dohr and Wenzel Fuchs, he will be performing in Seoul, Hwaseong, Bucheon and Busan from 14 July.
