From 25 June to 17 July, Daishin Kashimoto will be touring Japan and South Korea with three different ensembles: following concerts with the Dresden Philharmonic, he will perform in a trio with Claudio Bohórquez and Yu Kosuge, as well as with chamber music partners from the Berlin Philharmonic.

Daishin Kashimoto will perform Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 at two concerts with the Dresden Philharmonic under Sir Donald Runnicles on 25 June at Suntory Hall in Tokyo and on 28 June at Minato Mirai Hall in Yokohama.

He will then play works by Mozart, Schubert, Takemitsu, Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Beethoven in a trio with Claudio Bohórquez and Yu Kosuge in Osaka, Tokyo, Kanazawa and Fukuoka.

Finally, he will travel to South Korea with a programme devoted entirely to Brahms: together with Cho Seong-jin, Kyungmin Park, Kian Soltani, Stefan Dohr and Wenzel Fuchs, he will be performing in Seoul, Hwaseong, Bucheon and Busan from 14 July.

"A recording for the ages": Daishin Kashimoto’s interpretation of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with the Berlin Baroque Soloists has received rave reviews.

On 3 August 2025, Daishin Kashimoto performed The Four Seasons as a soloist with the Kammerakademie Potsdam at the Choriner Musiksommer.

In the first half of June 2025, Daishin Kashimoto was touring Japan and Taiwan with pianist Alessio Bax, performing sonatas by Mozart, Grieg and Beethoven in eight concerts.

Toshio Hosokawa's violin concerto Prayer, performed by Daishin Kashimoto as the Slovenian premiere, was the focus of the concert with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Tito Ceccherini on 12 February 2025 in Ljubljana.

On 9 and 10 December 2024, Daishin Kashimoto has performed Beethoven's Violin Concerto with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen under Paavo Järvi in Tokyo, before also appearing in recital with pianist Rafał Blechacz at Suntory Hall on 19 December.

Daishin Kashimoto's CD with Chausson's Concerto for Piano, Violin and String Quartet, recorded together with Éric Le Sage and the Schumann Quartet, was released by Sony Classical in October 2024 and was promptly voted Album of the Week by BR Klassik radio.

Daishin Kashimoto starts his three-year residency as soloist with the Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester at the end of October 2023 with two concerts in Mannheim Castle.

At the beginning of March, the world premiere of Toshio Hosokawa's violin concerto Prayer was performed by Daishin Kashimoto and the Berliner Philharmoniker, conducted by Paavo Järvi.
